Update revisited.

  • We got our paperwork back from the consulate yesterday. I'm a little frustrated that I paid extra for tracking and confirmation, however according to UPS, the package hasn't been mailed yet. But the important thing is that we now have it. Now we need to nail down a decision on the agency.
  • Yesterday I finally was able to park in the garage. However, in the process, my new lap top box was thrown out. With UPC code still attached. Meaning I don't get my rebate. :(
  • Work is very frustrating right now...hoping to be able to work that out soon.
  • Chopped my hair off again last weekend. It's shorter than it's been in a while.

That's all that's been going on recently...

Update

So I don't really have a reason for my lack of posts. It's not that I have been busy with work, as that's not really been the case. It's not that I haven't had time, as I seem to have a lot of time on my hands these days.

Update on things:

Job is going ok. Not too busy. I don't regret switching jobs, but I really miss my friends from the old place and the fun we used to have.

Adoption is slowly moving along. Vietnam issued new regulations at the beginning of January, so we had to wait and make sure there wasn't going to be more that we had to do. We got our last form, at the end of December, but we've run into a problem finding time to get the state seal put on the remaining documents, so that I can get them authenticated by the Vietnamese Consulate. Mark was finally able to wake up during the day so that he could get that taken care of last Friday, and Saturday I got the documents mailed off to the Vietnamese Consulate. Unfortunately we are running into a time crunch with the documents. None can be more than six months old, and sometime during February, my medical form will reach that date. So hopefully we can get everything submitted by that time so that I don't have to redo it.

I took my third section of the CPA exam-Auditing. Hopefully I did well, I don't know.

So for the next few weeks, I think I'm going to try and work on some things around the house:

  • Replace the cabinet hardware in my bathroom
  • Replace towel bars in my bathroom
  • Paint Kitchen
  • Trim in Dining room

I would love to be able to park my car in the garage again. Unfortunately I can't because it's loaded with boxes. So if you read this Mark, and you have nothing better to do, maybe you can do that. And that can be my birthday present.

I can't remember if I put this in my last post, I know that I told somebody about this, but we are looking for the following items:

An area rug that looks like it belongs in a girls room.

A crib set that is not too expensive.

If anybody sees anything like this, please let us know.

Well, I will sign off for now!
