Here is the front lobby of the Heart Hotel:
Trang with Chloe:
They both LOVED Chloe!
The Heart Hotel staff threw us a party to celebrate the adoptions. As you can see, they really went above and beyond. They spent all day cooking and preparing all this food! This is traditional Vietnamese Feast food. This hotel definitely was the highlight of our stay!
Here is most everyone!

ANGEL! CHLOE!!!!
Congratulations on finding and having each other to love. You are BOTH lucky. Your posting made me cry--and I surely relate to EVERYTHING you said. Our agency actually had a class on how to deal with all those things that well-meaning people say, even though they don't understand how it feels to you and Chloe to hear them. You ARE her "real" mother. And what's this stuff about spoiling your baby? Every resource I've had (people, adoption social workers, books, experts) all say the same thing: Your beautiful Bella NEEDS you to hold her and bond with her as much as you can. They actually encourage wearing her in a sling around you as much as possible. Keeping her close so she can learn that you ARE there and WILL BE there.
Also, about the crying and eating problems. They say it's because she's been completely uprooted from the place she knew for four months before you rescued her. She'll have to go through another adjustment phase when you get home. She's coming from the other side of the world! Different sounds, smells, tastes, sights, weather, humidity, and more. You are a GREAT mother. Don't let other peoples' "norms" make you do things you know aren't right for Chloe. Just ask others for patience and understanding.
Good luck Sweeties! I could tell that your Daddy misses his girls from a deep, deep place inside!
Love,
"Aunt" Dorothy
